We are fortunate at St Saviour’s to have an extremely well-resourced library, with over 10,000 books in stock. Many of these match the Accelerated Reader programme that is used throughout the school. This is a fantastic level of book choice in a Junior School. In order to enable teachers to effectively manage and monitor your child’s reading practice, children should choose their main school reading book from within the wide range of book titles that are on offer in our school stock list. Whilst continually updating our school book stock and taking into account pupils’ recommendations for new titles purchased, we appreciate that we do not have every latest bestseller, new release or book series that your child may want to read.  In order to address this, an option for pupils to read agreed titles from within the wider range of general school stock can be arranged with your child’s class teacher.
