Meet the Governors

Welcome to this area about the work of the governors at St Saviour's Church of England Junior School.

Governors are volunteers who work in partnership with school headteachers to ensure that children receive the best education possible. Governors represent the largest volunteer group in the UK and are selected from a variety of backgrounds to reflect the many interest groups within our schools.

Mr Lancaster is Chair of Governors.  Mr Lancaster may be contacted c/o the school office. Please note that correspondence you may send in for any governor/governing body marked 'Private & Confidential' will be held in the school until that governor or the Chair comes into school.  Most of our governors work full-time and do not come into school every week; this can delay a response and therefore we would ask that, if an urgent response is required, please make the office aware so the relevant member can be notified.

For reference there are photographs of the members in the main entrance hall.  In common with most schools, we have chosen not to have governors photographs on our website.

The private area, for which there is a link below, is to ease document sharing and to help in our commitment to sustainability through reducing the need for paper, printing, postage etc.
